Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management sector, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join their dedicated team. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be an integral part of the maintenance department supporting the operational excellence of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance, which will align successfully within the organization.

Joliet, IL What's the Job? Inspect, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and repair all types of facility systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire, life safety, boilers, refrigeration units, compressors, motors, pumps, and associated controls. Provide comprehensive facility maintenance services such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, landscaping, and snow removal to ensure the building's infrastructure and grounds are well-maintained. Participate in safety training sessions and adhere to all safety policies and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, calibration, and operational testing of systems and equipment. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document work performed, maintain equipment histories, and ensure timely completion of work orders. What's Needed? 2-4 years of experience in general maintenance within a commercial or production environment. Valid driver's license is required. Good working knowledge of multiple trades, with proven mechanical aptitude. Strong computer skills, including familiarity with building management systems and CMMS software. Ability to interpret technical instructions, codes, and regulations, ensuring all work complies with OSHA and local standards. What's in it for me?
