What You'll Do Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and facility equipment. Repair and maintain lighting, doors, docks, walls, ceilings, flooring, and office areas. Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical building systems. Perform basic HVAC maintenance and coordinate outside vendors when necessary. Maintain compressed air, water, and utility systems. Complete general carpentry, painting, and minor construction projects. Respond to facility maintenance requests in a timely manner. Operate forklifts, lifts, ladders, and other maintenance equipment safely. Maintain exterior grounds including snow removal, salting, landscaping coordination, and parking lot upkeep. Assist with machine moves, equipment installations, and facility improvement projects. Keep accurate maintenance records and complete assigned work orders. Follow all OSHA, safety, and environmental regulations. Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives. What You Bring Frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in various positions throughout the shift. Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely work at heights when needed. 3+ years of facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred. Electrical systems (120V/480V preferred) Plumbing HVAC basics Pneumatics Mechanical repairs Experience using hand and power tools. Ability to read basic blueprints, manuals, and maintenance documentation. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Forklift and aerial lift experience is a plus. Why Geremarie? Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
