Job Description

Join PDS Tech as a Maintenance Technician in Lombard, IL! Build a Career Where Your Skills Make an Immediate Impact We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair production machinery and equipment. In this hands-on role, you'll support daily production activities, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and help ensure a safe, efficient, and high performing manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Install and maintain production machines, systems, and associated equipment. Troubleshoot and repair machinery during active production to minimize downtime. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance during planned service windows. Complete basic machinist tasks and mechanical repair activities. Apply mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to diagnose and correct equipment issues. Read and interpret equipment manuals, technical documentation, and work orders. Replace or repair faulty parts, test machine functionality, and make necessary adjustments. Use a wide range of hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material-handling equipment. Identify faulty operations, defective materials, or unusual conditions and report them promptly. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with safety policies. What You Bring Experience in equipment repair, maintenance, or industrial mechanics. Ability to troubleshoot issues using mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge. Skill using tools such as wrenches, drills, meters, and various shop equipment. Ability to read and follow manuals, work orders, and diagrams. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality. Candidates need all 4: electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic beyond basic knowledge (not just preventative maintenance) in an industrial environment for a number of years consistently. Pay Details:
$24.82 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
