Maintenance Technician - Manteno, IL Our client, a leading food manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Shift:
1st & 3rd What's the Job? Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a variety of manufacturing equipment, including conveyors, mixers, ovens, and packaging machines. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production line stoppages, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and supplies, coordinating with the storeroom clerk and planner to ensure critical components are available. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability and overall performance. What's Needed? Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Experience performing preventative maintenance on industrial equipment. Ability to work in a fast-paced, food-safe environment. Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
