Maintenance Technician Morton, IL Pay:
$23.92 - $29.12/hour Full-Time Opportunity Advance Your Maintenance Career with a Growing Industry Leader Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician looking for a hands-on role where you can develop your mechanical and electrical troubleshooting expertise? We are seeking motivated individuals to join a growing team responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving industrial processing equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on industrial processing equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime Diagnose and repair pumps, motors, conveyors, belts, pulleys, and other production equipment Perform electrical maintenance on industrial systems, including 240V-480V and three-phase equipment Replace worn, damaged, or defective machine components Support equipment installations, upgrades, and improvement projects Collaborate with maintenance team members to resolve complex equipment failures Complete maintenance documentation and work orders accurately Assist with facility maintenance, including plumbing, painting, carpentry, and general building repairs Follow all safety procedures and maintenance best practices Qualifications Previous industrial maintenance experience preferred Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment Knowledge of pumps, motors, conveyors, belts, bearings, and other industrial systems Experience working with electrical systems, including three-phase motors and 240V-480V equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical documentation Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship Experience Levels Welcome We are open to candidates with varying levels of maintenance experience, including: Entry-Level Maintenance Technicians Intermediate Maintenance Technicians Experienced Maintenance Technicians Compensation is based on skills, experience, and technical knowledge.
