Job Description

Maintenance Technician - Senior Living Community Our family owned and award-winning Senior Living Community, is searching for mature, reliable, and capable individuals to join our maintenance department. We have full and part time positions available in a remarkable environment where you are valued and make a difference! We are currently hiring for a Maintenance Technician to help manage the general maintenance and curb appeal of our apartment community. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who enjoys being hands-on and helping residents. Job Responsibilities The responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician are as follows: Perform all necessary repairs to the apartment community, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, flooring, painting, and electrical. Installation of new appliances as needed. Ensure resident requested service orders are completed on a timely basis. Assist in maintaining the exterior of the building and property to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal. Comply with all OSHA regulations and health, safety, and environmental laws. Additional duties as needed and directed. Qualifications The qualifications of the Maintenance Technician are as follows: A minimum of 3 years of related experience. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems. HVAC certification is strongly preferred. Good communication skills; the ability to work well with others productively and respectfully. Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines. Able to be on-call for responding to after-hours emergencies. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
