Description Description Basic Responsibilities:
We are seeking an Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and improving critical production equipment. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where no two days are the same-you'll work directly with machinery, controls, and production teams to keep operations running safely and efficiently.What You'll Do:
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, control circuits, sensors, and industrial automation systems.
- Install, modify, and maintain electrical equipment, PLCs, instrumentation, and AC/DC variable speed drives.
- Repair and rebuild gearboxes, motors, cylinders, and mechanical systems.
- Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, relay logic, and electrical schematics.
- Support design, installation, and improvement of manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve operational issues.
- Research parts, components, pricing, and lead times to support maintenance and upgrades.
- Read and interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Requirements Qualifications:
- Strong experience in industrial maintenance (electrical + mechanical).
- Hands-on knowledge of PLC systems, troubleshooting, and programming logic.
- Experience with AC/DC drives, control systems, sensors, and industrial wiring.
- Strong mechanical aptitude including hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine repair.
- Ability to diagnose and solve problems independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in reading electrical schematics, technical drawings, and machine documentation.
- Basic machining, fabrication, and tooling knowledge.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems (Windows-based tools and file management).
- Strong math skills including geometry, trigonometry, and metric conversions.
- AutoCAD or technical drafting experience is a plus.
