Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, providing timely repairs, and maintaining a safe working environment. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems. Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs and modifications. Utilize mechanical knowledge to interpret schematics and diagrams for effective troubleshooting. Oversee facilities maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Engage in residential painting projects as required to maintain aesthetic quality. Supervise junior maintenance staff, providing guidance and leadership in daily operations. Deliver excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Utilize an ohmmeter for electrical testing to ensure proper functionality of systems. Experience Candidates should have a solid foundation in the following areas: Proven experience in maintenance roles within manufacturing or similar environments. Strong electrical experience, including familiarity with PLCs and schematics. Background in welding techniques and mechanical repair. Supervisory experience is preferred, demonstrating leadership capabilities. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with team members and clients.
