Fence Installer / Outdoor Construction Technician Fence Medic

• Northbrook, IL Fence Medic is growing and looking for a dependable, hard-working team member to join our crew.

We specialize in fence repairs, new fence installations, playset assembly, basketball hoop installations, and seasonal holiday lighting throughout Chicago's North Shore and surrounding suburbs. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning skilled trades, and taking pride in completing quality work. Every day is different, and you'll work directly with the owner while learning valuable construction and installation skills. Pay & Benefits

• 28.00 per hour depending on experience

• Repair and install wood, vinyl, chain-link, and ornamental fences
• Dig and set fence posts using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
• Remove damaged fencing, posts, and concrete footings
• Load, unload, and transport materials to job sites
• Install gates, hardware, and fence accessories
• Assist with playset assembly and basketball hoop installations
• Assist with seasonal holiday lighting installations and removals
• Maintain tools, equipment, trailers, and work vehicles
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean job site
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers Requirements
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely
• Construction, fencing, landscaping, carpentry, or outdoor labor experience is preferred but not required
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
