Floor Technician

Northbrook Health and Rehab is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team. The Floor Technician plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities Perform routine floor care, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, and waxing. Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and effectively. Follow infection control and safety protocols. Maintain all common areas, including the facility lobby, nurses' stations, all restrooms, dining rooms, break rooms, and business offices. Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in floor care/housekeeping required (healthcare or long-term care setting a plus). Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Dependable, with good communication and teamwork skills. Must be able to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday). Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and move equipment and furniture as required.

Schedule & Pay Shift:

Five [5] days per week; rotating weekends.

Compensation:
