Maintenance Mechanic

Randstad Staffing has partnered with a national Industrial Packaging manufacturing company in Rock Island, IL in hiring for their Direct-Hire Industrial Maintenance Mechanic positions! 1st

Shift:

6:00 AM to 2:00 PM / Monday to Friday 2nd

Shift:

2:00 PM to 10:00 PM / Monday to

Friday Pay:

$27-30 per hour (based on experience) 2nd Shift offers a $1 per hour shift differential

Full-Time Employment Preferred Skills:

Experience within the corrugated industry. Experience with operational excellence or continuous improvement programs (Lean 6 Sigma, Kaizen Events)

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

High School diploma or GED equivalent from accredited institution. 3+ years of experience as a maintenance tech/mechanic in manufacturing environment. Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting complex equipment issues. Solid understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills.

salary:

$55,000 - $65,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 6 AM - 2

High SchoolResponsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment failures and downtime. Assist in the installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment. Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, parts usage, and equipment history. Train and mentor junior technicians as needed. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
