In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all staff and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting where your contributions directly impact operational excellence. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair appliances, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and refrigeration units using schematics and technical manuals. Perform equipment repairs or replacements promptly to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues effectively. Assist with construction or renovation projects by installing or upgrading mechanical systems and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during maintenance projects to ensure timely completion. Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed for compliance and future reference. Experience Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician in a commercial or industrial setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and electrical equipment. Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures for complex machinery. Experience working with HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration equipment. Knowledge of construction practices related to facility upgrades or installations is a plus. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with external contractors during maintenance projects.
