Job Description
We re looking for dedicated individuals to join our night shift crew. In this role, you ll work during non-production hours to keep our equipment running at peak performance and efficiency. This work is performed outdoors and subject to the elements, so you ll need to be comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday starting at 4 PM, with occasional Saturdays based on maintenance needs.NOTE:
We do have a day shift maintenance open too, see that ad to apply for days.ABOUT THE JOB
Maintains plant productivity by proactively managing maintenance function. Welding and Fabrication work on stationary equipment Ensure proper Parts Inventory Maintain facility equipment Stationary equipment by performing PM s on: Downstream sorting lines, conveyors and machines Diagnostics and repairs to industrial type of equipment including auto shredder, Mobile Equipment, Forklifts, front end loaders, skid steers, truck & Trailers. Perform troubleshooting, maintenance and repair work for machinery and various auto shredder plant equipment. Work with hydraulic, pneumatic and electric systems, PLC, valves, cylinders, bearings, and electric motors Check with key operations (tower operator, forklift, and loader) to be sure all equipment is running properly; and schedule maintenance as required. Prepare and maintain all maintenance records, and daily reports Assign, review, document and check work of maintenance done by employees, providing on-the-job training as needed; eliminate ordinary work difficulties. May be involved in a variety of other responsibilities including ordering of parts, welding, fabricating and performance electrical repairs (minor). Wears all necessary PPE when working in the yard. Follows company safety standards at all times.Preferred Experience:
Background in non-ferrous (NF) and ferrous metals, shredders, Maintenance, Mechanic, Mechanical, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, equipment operation positions. Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.ABOUT YOU
Previous Maintenance Experience working on large equipment, required Welding (Stick & Mig) and fabricating skills are required. High school diploma or GED, preferred Familiarity with yard vehicles, forklift, loaders, and material separators a definite plus Organizational skills required Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 - 50 poundsABOUT BENEFITS
