Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and versatile Handyman to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks across various facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all spaces remain safe, functional, and well-maintained, contributing to a productive and secure environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately execute repair and installation tasks Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards Perform repairs on equipment, fixtures, plumbing, electrical systems, and structural elements using power tools and manual tools Implement erosion control measures during construction or landscaping projects to prevent soil loss and environmental impact Follow all workplace safety regulations, including OSHA standards, respiratory protection protocols, and proper manual handling procedures Assist with heavy lifting and climbing tasks safely while adhering to construction safety regulations Maintain detailed records of work performed, safety inspections, and equipment repairs for accountability and compliance Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment and systems Proficiency in reading construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints for accurate implementation of tasks Knowledge of erosion control techniques relevant to construction or landscaping projects Familiarity with industrial construction environments and experience working with heavy machinery or tools Understanding of workplace safety practices including OSHA safety standards, respiratory protection, climbing safety, and manual handling techniques Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for precise execution of work assignments Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges Join us as a Handyman if you thrive in active environments where your technical skills make an immediate impact.
