Job Description

The main function of the Mechanic will be to support the maintenance functions of a pharmaceutical plant including machine maintenance, building maintenance and facilities. Duties include installation, inspection, and repair of equipment including electrical work on agitators/mixers, dryers, centrifuges, reactors, chillers, cooling towers, air handler units, exhaust fans, autoclaves, blowers, valves, control panels, and various sanitary design pumps and valves within a cleanroom environment. The Mechanic will troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues. The ideal candidate will provide input for preventative maintenance and procedures throughout all areas of coverage. Must possess general knowledge of the following skill sets: PLC, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Welding, Pneumatic, Gas Supply, Vacuum, Writing/Revising SOPs, PM, cGMP Must interpret drawings, layouts and wiring diagrams.
