Job Description
Maintenance Mechanic :
Woodstock , Illinois Our customer in Woodstock, Illinois, is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. We're recruiting Maintenance Mechanics to work full-time on 2nd shift. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. Responsibilities of theMaintenance Mechanic :
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery, conveyors, motors, and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues to minimize downtime. Inspect, adjust, and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Fabricate and install repair parts as needed. Complete routine maintenance on equipment, wiring, and control systems. Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues between shifts. Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Support production goals by responding to equipment breakdowns and performing additional duties as assigned. Demonstrate a daily commitment to workplace safety and promptly report hazards, injuries, or near-miss incidents.Maintenance Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications:
Previous industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical experience required. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Experience with motors, control systems, and preventive maintenance. Welding and fabrication experience preferred. Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and safely in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to pass a background check, physical, and drug screen. Pay forMaintenance Mechanic :
