Role:
The Maintenance Technician is a dual-role position responsible for supporting both equipment maintenance and material movement throughout the facility. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production operations.
Core Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on production equipment and facility systems Troubleshoot and assist with basic mechanical, electrical, or building maintenance issues Support general facility upkeep, including grounds, equipment, and work areas Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the plant Load/unload trucks and ensure accurate inventory transactions in ERP systems Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, and inventory documentation Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures , including PPE usage Perform quality checks and adhere to work instructions and control plans Assist with cycle counts, inventory organization, and material identification Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Balance priorities between maintenance tasks and material handling needs Respond to work orders and production support requests Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for daily work Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work closely with production, maintenance, and materials teams

Must Have:
High school diploma or equivalent Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment Ability to safely operate or learn forklift operation (certification required) Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools Ability to follow safety, quality, and work instructions Basic computer skills Nice to
Have:
