Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Maintenance Technician to join our team at a Mobile Home Community. This role involves performing routine and emergency maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the community. The Maintenance Technician will handle equipment repairs, maintenance, lawn care, and interior and exterior work on mobile homes. Additionally, the position requires availability for on-call and after-hours maintenance to address urgent issues promptly. A strong focus on customer service is essential to provide residents with a positive living experience. Duties Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on community equipment and mobile homes to ensure optimal operation. Perform interior and exterior work on mobile homes, including minor repairs and cosmetic improvements. Maintain the community's lawns and landscaping, ensuring a clean and attractive environment. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents, providing excellent customer service throughout the process. Handle emergency repairs during after-hours or on-call periods to minimize downtime and inconvenience for residents. Assist with general community upkeep, including safety inspections and preventative maintenance tasks. Document maintenance activities accurately and report any significant issues requiring additional attention or specialized services. Qualifications Proven experience in equipment repair, maintenance, or related fields is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members. Ability to perform both interior and exterior work on mobile homes, including minor repairs and upkeep. Knowledge of lawn care practices and landscaping is desirable. Flexibility to be available for on-call or after-hours maintenance as needed. Basic understanding of safety protocols related to maintenance work. $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
