$15.00 per hour (starting) Job Type Full-time In-person Job Description Howard Salvaging is hiring a reliable Maintenance Technician / General Laborer to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of our yard and shop. This position is hands-on, physical, and fast-paced . We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and shows up consistently. Serious applicants only. Key Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of yard and shop areas Clean and manage oil spills immediately Perform lawn care (mowing, weed eating, trimming) Ensure all vehicle hoods are closed and yard is secure Remove trash, loose parts, and debris from the yard Run a metal detector in driveways to remove nails/screws Sweep shop floors and maintain safe working conditions Clean bathrooms and common areas Take out trash on a regular schedule Monitor fluid containers and report when full Perform general maintenance and other tasks as assigned Qualifications Must be reliable and show up consistently Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work independently without constant supervision Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Willingness to perform physical labor daily Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly Standing, walking, and bending throughout the day Working in outdoor and shop environments Schedule Monday-Friday (based on business needs) Saturday work may be required Pay & Growth Starting at $15/hour Opportunities for advancement within the company Important Notice We are looking for dependable employees only .
