A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.

Holiday Inn Express is seeking a dependable, skilled, and service-oriented Maintenance Technician to help ensure our guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained hotel. If you take pride in solving problems, working with your hands, and maintaining high standards, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Perform preventive maintenance throughout the hotel. Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, and mechanical systems. Complete guest room repairs, including drywall, painting, carpentry, doors, locks, and fixtures. Maintain public areas, exterior grounds, and back-of-house facilities. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff. Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues before they become larger problems. Maintain the swimming pool, spa, and related equipment. Ensure all work complies with safety standards, local codes, and company policies. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience , preferably in a hotel, apartment, commercial, or healthcare facility.
Working knowledge of:
HVAC systems Plumbing Electrical troubleshooting Drywall and painting General carpentry EPA Certification is a plus but not required. Pool certification is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders. Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills. Flexible schedule, including occasional weekends, holidays, and emergency on-call responsibilities.
