Job Description

Applied Laboratories is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician Level 2 to join our dedicated Weekend Production Crew . This role is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment while supporting equipment reliability, preventive maintenance initiatives, and overall production uptime. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys diagnosing complex issues, working independently, and contributing to a growing manufacturing operation. Schedule Friday through Sunday Three 12-hour shifts Premium weekend rate Work 3 days while earning the equivalent of a 40-hour workweek Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities on production equipment. Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and machine control issues. Troubleshoot high-voltage electrical systems and advanced low-voltage control circuits. Support equipment reliability improvements and recommend solutions for recurring equipment failures. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to other maintenance personnel when needed. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and equipment documentation. Document maintenance activities, troubleshooting findings, corrective actions, and repair history. Follow all safety, GMP, lockout/tagout, hazardous energy control, and quality requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications Technical certification, apprenticeship, or equivalent maintenance experience preferred. Five or more years of industrial maintenance experience preferred. Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, machine controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Ability to troubleshoot equipment independently and efficiently. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred. Work Environment This position operates in a manufacturing environment and requires compliance with all safety, GMP, and PPE requirements. Employees may work around production equipment, access elevated or restricted areas, and perform physically demanding maintenance activities including lifting, climbing, crouching, standing, and working in various environmental conditions. Training and Onboarding Any additional training required for weekend operations will be conducted during weekday first-shift hours to support a successful transition into the role.
