Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of production and mechanical equipment. Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machinery, and other mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using mechanical knowledge, technical manuals, diagrams, precision measuring instruments, and testing equipment.
- Dismantle, inspect, repair, adjust, and replace defective components using hand and power tools, hoists, cranes, and other equipment.
- Fabricate repair parts, maintain maintenance inventory, document repairs and equipment issues, and promote safe and efficient maintenance practices. Job Requirements Required Skills & Experience
- 7-10 years of industrial equipment maintenance experience, including mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, engines, forklifts, heavy trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills with the ability to read diagrams, technical procedures, manuals, and engineering specifications.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, precision measuring equipment, and common maintenance instruments.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet-based applications, along with strong communication, documentation, and basic mathematical skills. Preferred Skills & Experience
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Experience with JD Edwards and/or additional machine shop or fabrication equipment is preferred.
