Join our Toyota Heavy Duty Team as a Maintenance Technician !
The Role:
We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Maintenance Tech who brings enthusiasm, energy, and expertise to the table. In this role, you'll perform maintenance and repair activities on the facility and equipment, including but not limited to electrical and mechanical operations, while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. If you enjoy tackling challenges with positivity and a bit of humor, you'll feel right at home here.
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll be the go-to for inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on the facility and equipment. (Toyota will provide tools) Troubleshoot issues and provide diagnoses and plan repairs on equipment Collaborate with contractors for on-site projects Order, receive/collect, and stock parts and other maintenance materials Install new equipment and fixtures Conduct analysis on electrical controls and circuits Maintain files and logs Perform general housekeeping and grounds keeping
What We're Looking For :
At least 2-5 years of Maintenance experience Knowledge of plumbing, hydraulic, and compressor systems Knowledge of pumps, motors, motor controls, instrumentation, metal fabrication, and other maintenance functions Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
What Sets You Apart :
Fast-paced individual willing to cross-train Experience with a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is a plus
Where and When You'll Work:
This is an in-person role, located at our East Chicago, IN facility, which is ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment. Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm with occasional overtime and alternating on-call weekends
