Job Description
Plant maintenance in a manufacturing environment. Maintains production efficiency and quality by ensuring efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Identify source of problem and return equipment to operational in an effort to minimize downtime. Ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and have a minimum of one to two years' experience in a maintenance role. Skills Required Responsible for maintenance of all production equipment including die stamping machines, riveters, saws, brake press, blanker and other production equipment in a manufacturing facility. Mechanical Troubleshooting and repair of various manufacturing equipment, including motors, gear boxes, chains. Electrical Troubleshooting, use of basic electrical meters. Lathe and Mill Experience a plus. Fabrication Perform basic preventative maintenance as directed by Maintenance Supervisor Maintenance and in-house manufacturing of basic roll-forming machinery. Perform minor building repair and maintenance as needed. Experience with basic automated machinery, tools and dies and/or sheet metal equipment a plus. Knowledge of OSHA and safety is a requirement Schedule - M-F 6 AM - 2:30 PM with openness to work some Saturday shifts as needed
