Maintenance Technician

Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the repair and upkeep of heavy manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, comfort working in physically demanding conditions, and a hands-on approach to keeping equipment running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on heavy industrial machinery. Diagnose and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Service and rebuild gearboxes and mechanical drive systems. Perform precision mechanical work, including tear-downs and rebuilds of motors and equipment. Work in dirty, tight, and hot environments that are non-climate controlled. Use large hand tools and wrenches weighing up to 50 pounds. Support breakdown maintenance and preventative maintenance activities. Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and equipment reliability. Essential Skills Electrical troubleshooting. Mechanical repair and maintenance. Hydraulics and pneumatics expertise. Preventive maintenance. Leadership development. Six Sigma knowledge. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with conveyors, formers, furnaces, die machines, and general manufacturing and material handling equipment. Equivalent degree or schooling.
