$21.00 / hr We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to assist with general property maintenance and resident work orders in Gosport, IN. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who is comfortable handling a variety of repairs, inspections, and upkeep tasks while providing quality service to residents. Job Summary Complete general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the property Turn units and prepare them for new residents Hang blinds and complete caulking as needed Check plumbing and identify potential issues Inspect appliances to ensure they are functioning properly Complete repairs and address resident work orders Move appliances in and out of units when needed Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Experience Required Previous experience in property maintenance, general maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred Hands-on experience with basic repairs and maintenance tasks Experience troubleshooting plumbing, appliances, and general property issues is a plus Skills & Qualifications Strong attention to detail Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple work orders Dependable and responsive Comfortable performing physical tasks, including moving appliances Professional and courteous when interacting with residents Ability to use basic hand tools and maintenance equipment
