Job Description

Maintenance Technician Patrick Industries, is hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join their team. The facilities Maintenance Technician looks after all machinery in the manufacturing plant. The position is responsible for ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, troubleshooting, repairing and performing maintenance on a different type of machinery and completing other odd jobs around the manufacturing facility. Electrical experience is desired but not mandatory. The Maintenance Technician role will encompass a hands on approach and be responsible for ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing routine preventative maintenance, corrective repairs, and emergent maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they arise on our equipment while developing a preventive maintenance program and culture. include but are not limited to: Repair machinery throughout the plant Responsible for working in a lead capacity within the maintenance department of a one shift, high volume manufacturing facility Coordinate and direct manufacturing team members to achieve efficient completion of repairs and preventative maintenance Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule program for applicable equipment and machinery Schedule and prioritize maintenance needs to ensure coverage for unexpected breakdowns and to maximize department efficiency Work with Plant Leadership to establish maintenance standards, procedures, and programs to ensure efficient operations Design and implement reactive maintenance log to capture real costs associated with the maintenance of equipment Observe manufacturing process to propose and develop ways to implement automation and increase production efficiency Evaluate skills and abilities of production team to cross train and develop basic PM program through the shop floor Project management of capital purchases and process improvements; including the automation of processes Maintain budget while inventorying parts and ordering replacement parts for equipment Develop an inventory management strategy for the maintenance crib Develop 5S practices to implement a visual environment Purchasing repair parts and maintaining inventory of tools Works with vendors to secure estimates and cost quotes as needed • Identify, develop, and implement safety initiatives in support of business needs Enforces sound safety and housekeeping practices Other duties as assigned Requirements- 5+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience Strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical aptitude
