Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and operate smoothly. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in apartment maintenance and HVAC, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems and equipment. This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks and a commitment to safety and quality and follow Fair Housing Law. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Conduct residential painting as needed to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the facilities. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities Collaborate with the Property Manager on projects and ensure the timely completion of make-ready, painting, maintenance, cleaning, and related work. Respond promptly to staff maintenance requests and ensure high levels of customer service. Complete vacant units to make them ready for status: painting, service maintenance, carpet cleaning, and cleaning. On-Call rotation for After-Hours Emergency Maintenance Snow removal from sidewalks and ramps Experience
  • Required Proven apartment maintenance experience 2+ years is a plus.
EPA refrigeration certified and HVAC certified. Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and self motivated to work on own. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A solid understanding of safety protocols related to maintenance work.
