Job Description
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician at Jamestown Homes Cooperative. This full-time position requires a trustworthy individual who is very much a hands-on person. One who can respond to a range of routine and emergency maintenance needs along with other more technical issues—sometimes afterhours. The right candidate will be someone who can communicate well, is honest, self-directed, organized, a multi-tasker and one who works well with people. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Inspect property Maintain common areas and ensure clean safe condition Perform basic janitorial, electrical, plumbing, heating and painting duties Communicate effectively and courteously in person, by text, email and phone. Report and record resident complaints to management Order and maintain supplies and materials Coordinate between management and contractors
