Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of manufacturing facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in facilities maintenance and a focus on safety and efficiency. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise and leadership are valued. Duties Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust equipment functions. Conduct welding repairs and perform residential painting as needed for facility upkeep. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation to identify issues accurately. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and manage inventory. Supervise or assist with projects involving facilities maintenance or equipment upgrades. Ensure compliance with safety standards and participate in safety training sessions. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency. Lead or support team efforts in supervising maintenance activities when required. Skills Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems. Mechanical knowledge including troubleshooting, repair, welding, and fabrication skills. Experience with schematics, technical drawings, and CMMS software. Ability to operate Ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools effectively. Strong understanding of facilities maintenance practices including residential painting when necessary. Supervising or leadership experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination. Customer service orientation to support internal clients' needs effectively. This Maintenance Technician role is essential for maintaining the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our operations through expert technical skills combined with leadership capabilities.
Pay:
$20.73 - $30.98 per hour
