About The Opportunity The maintenance personnel are responsible for maintaining and repairing all machinery and equipment within the facility to keep it in proper working order. As well as maintaining building equipment and facilities. Crew D - 7:00pm-7:00am Pay range: $33.50-$38.00 per hour Essential Functions Perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines and steam generators; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions Perform electrical trouble shooting and repairs using the proper tools and PPE Work with or without production personnel to troubleshoot mechanical issues Work in conjunction with outside contractors and/or vendors as well as OEMs to troubleshoot and make repairs to plant equipment Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listen for problems; and use precision measuring and testing instruments to diagnose problems Control downtime by performing routine preventive maintenance techniques Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs Use computer system to document work and account for parts Communicate with the team using verbal, written or electronic communication including phone, email, radio, or other modes Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Required to participate on the Emergency Response Team Perform other duties assigned by leads/management/supervisors Support the installation of new equipment and the fabrication of custom parts Assist in training employees on the proper maintenance and operation of machinery and equipment Use schematics or drawings navigating PLC systems for troubleshooting
Education/Certification Level Required:
HS Diploma or equivalent
Level Desired:
Journeyman Millwright Mechanic Card, Technical degree in
Electro-Mechanical Work Experience Required:
5 or more years industrial maintenance, acquire mobile equipment licenses within 30 days
