Job Summary:

Masterbilt Inc. is seeking a dedicated CNC Maintenance Technician to join our South Bend team. This position focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines to ensure our production operations run efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CNC equipment, a strong mechanical background, and the ability to perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

CNC Machine Maintenance:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on CNC machinery to ensure optimal functionality and reduce equipment downtime.

Troubleshooting & Repair:

Diagnose and resolve issues in CNC machines, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Equipment Upgrades & Adjustments:

Conduct upgrades and make necessary adjustments to CNC machines as needed to maintain performance.

Documentation & Reporting:

Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.

Safety Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others. Collaboration with

Work closely with production teams to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruption to production.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred. Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance or a similar role in an industrial setting.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in diagnosing and repairing CNC machinery, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components. Familiarity with FANUC, Siemens, or similar CNC control systems.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to quickly identify issues, assess root causes, and implement effective solutions.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform hands-on maintenance tasks.
