Job Summary:

Maintenance Technician The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role supports a safe, efficient, and well-maintained operation by performing preventative maintenance and addressing mechanical and technical issues across a variety of systems. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems Perform repairs on production line machinery such as conveyor systems, packaging equipment, grinding machines, and stacking equipment Conduct routine preventative maintenance and equipment inspections according to established schedules Assist with the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment as needed Perform basic cutting, welding, and light steel fabrication tasks Inspect, adjust, and test equipment to ensure proper operation Support diagnostics of equipment malfunctions and identify root causes Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, safe work environment Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements Previous maintenance experience required; manufacturing environment experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including prolonged standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, and reaching overhead Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Basic math and reading skills, including the ability to interpret product descriptions and maintain written records Ability to operate controls, monitor machinery, and follow instructions accurately
