What You'll Do
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting our campus facilities.
Your responsibilities may include:
Performing preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facilities on campus
Operator and maintain maintenance machinery, transportation equipment, and industrial equipment.
Perform basic plumbing, HVAC, janitorial duties, landscaping, electrical, and carpentry.
What We're Looking For
Experienced professionals in:
Industrial equipment maintenance and repair
Mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, pumps and pump motors) Electrical troubleshooting (AC/DC systems, motors, control circuits) Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) - basic troubleshooting and diagnostics Blueprint and schematic reading (mechanical and electrical) Preventive and predictive maintenance practices Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and motor controls Welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, stick, Mill and Lathe experience) Precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, alignment tools) Root cause analysis and problem-solving CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) Hand and power tool operation Safety compliance (Lockout/Tagout, OSHA standards, PPE) Equipment installation and commissioning Forklift or rigging experience If you're looking for a hands-on manufacturing role with long-term potential, we'd like to hear from you.
