Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Residential Maintenance & Construction Specialist to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving residential properties through a variety of construction, repair, and maintenance tasks. Your expertise will ensure that homes are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing, providing exceptional service to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mechanical, electrical, and construction skills while leading projects that make a real difference in people's lives. Duties Perform routine and preventive maintenance on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and structural components. Execute construction projects such as installing fixtures, drywall repair, painting, flooring, and cabinetry with precision and attention to detail. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals; utilize tools like ohmmeters and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure systems operate smoothly. Conduct welding repairs and mechanical adjustments to support facility maintenance needs. Supervise or assist with subcontractors and team members during larger projects, ensuring safety standards and quality control are maintained. Maintain accurate records of work performed using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and other documentation tools. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about project timelines, procedures, and maintenance recommendations. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or residential construction with a strong mechanical background. Knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring, PLCs, welding techniques, and residential painting. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics fluently in English. Hands-on experience with electrical systems, including troubleshooting with ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools. Supervising or leadership experience in a construction or maintenance environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with manufacturing or facilities management practices is a plus. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining safety standards. Pay:
$16.00 - $24.00 per hour
