Job Description
Overview We are seeking a Hospital Maintenance Technician II, also referred to as our Maintenance Worker or Maintenance Specialist, at Saint John Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare in Leavenworth, KS. A Hospital Maintenance Tech is responsible for maintaining and repairing non-medical equipment like HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and facility structures to ensure the hospital operates safely and efficiently. They perform routine inspections, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with safety codes to support patient care and hospital operations.

Doing regular inspections and checks to prevent breakdowns, like lubricating motors, testing generators, or checking emergency lightingFacility Upkeep:
Things like patching walls, painting, installing fixtures, or even minor carpentry or electrical workSafety Compliance:
Ensure a safe working environment by maintaining accurate equipment logs, adhering to safety standards, and driving as needed for company business If you have experience or training in HVAC repair, plumbing or electrical systems you are encouraged to apply! 2 years' experience High school diploma or equivalent Valid state driver's license Additional Qualifications That Are aPlus:
