In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks across residential and commercial properties. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that our projects are completed on time and budget with a high degree of quality. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance on building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical equipment. Repair or replace electrical wiring, fixtures, outlets, switches, and electrical equipment using hand tools and schematics. Perform plumbing system maintenance and repairs such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, replacing fixtures, and maintaining plumbing systems. Execute carpentry tasks including repairing doors, windows, cabinetry, drywall patching, painting touch-ups, and other interior building repairs. Operate welding equipment and perform welding tasks when necessary for structural repairs or fabrications. Maintain new home equipment by troubleshooting issues with plumbing, electrical components, or mechanical parts; as well as paint issues. Support HVAC system repair efforts by diagnosing issues with heating or cooling units and performing necessary repairs or replacements. Assist with supervising or leading small teams during maintenance projects or repairs as needed; ensure safety protocols are followed at all times. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repair status and expected completion times. Operate construction equipment like compact track loaders and mini excavators. Requirements Proven experience in general maintenance, construction skills, or related fields with hands-on skills in electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, welding, HVAC repair, and painting. Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and technical manuals. Ability to read construction blueprints accurately; experience working with Microsoft office, email, and Adobe Software is a plus. Strong electrical experience including troubleshooting electrical systems. Knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repair techniques; experience with residential painting is desirable. Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with team members and clients. Supervising or leadership experience is preferred to coordinate tasks efficiently within a team setting. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
