Maintenance Support Technician Holiday Inn Express Olathe North Olathe, KS Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Full-time From $18 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Customer service High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Problem-solving Organizational skills Technical Proficiency Cross-functional communication Full Job Description Job description: Maintenance Support Technician - Holiday Inn & Suites and Hilton Garden Inn - Olathe, KS. Looking for Seasonal/Full Time/Part Time Hourly Maintenance. The support technician position works under the direction of the construction superintendent as well as hotel engineering management staff. This position will be key in hands-on assistance for moving furniture, removing and reinstalling toilets, hanging wall mount items, assisting in remodeling, and all other tasks as assigned.
- Is knowledgeable in all engineering SOP's, and sets the example for others by following all and brand requirements.
- Supports construction team to ensure excellent customer service as it relates to maintenance and equipment issues. Completes all assigned duties within or outside the normal scope of responsibilities.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment in compliance with brand, local, state and federal regulations. Follows all procedures for guest/associate incidents. Knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures.
- Must have high attention to detail, good communication skills, and excellent problem solving skills.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
1-2+ years of maintenance experience preferred. Must be detail oriented, have ability to communicate well with all levels within and outside the organization, and be able to problem-solve with employees. Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds consistently throughout shift.Schedule:
- Monday through Friday Morning shift
Experience:
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
