Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience in industrial maintenance. This role requires proficiency in electrical and the ability to read and understand schematics for standard 120/240 volt single-phase and 220 low-voltage 3-phase to 460 high-voltage 3-phase equipment. You will also need to complete understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems withina similar field, PLC understanding, and basic logic programming of robotic equipment for automotive industries, will need knowledge of overhead cranes on motors and brake systems, conveyors, and electrical systems. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and systems. MIG and TIG welding, plus experience in the usage of end mills, drill presses, milling lathes, and tools used on the job daily. You may be performing at heights above 10 feet when working on equipment, so you must have experience using man lifts and/orforklifts in completing job tasks. You must be able to work in a quick-paced atmosphere with high levels of noise and the movement of equipment. Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely while performing maintenance tasks. Must be able to work in hot and cold environments. Execute welding tasks, including stick welding, to repair or fabricate components as needed. Read and interpret schematics to understand electrical and mechanical systems. Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide customer service support when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Must be able to maintain good records from the PM schedule book for all equipment and each day, week, and month. Must have a good team attitude and communication with leaders and management from all departments. Must be able to work holidays when needed for maintenance repairs. Must keep and have a good attendance record and maintain a professional attitude in a high-pressure environment. Experience 3 years+ of previous experience Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or technician in a manufacturing setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance practices. Familiarity with high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems is essential. Previous field service experience is preferred, along with the ability to analyze complex problems effectively.
