Job Description

Job Summary Bear Branch Cabins is looking for a dependable and motivated General Maintenance Technician to help maintain our vacation rental properties. This position involves a variety of outdoor and indoor maintenance tasks. Every day is different, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys staying active, solving problems, and working with their hands. ResponsibilitiesProperty Maintenance Replace HVAC air filters Change water filters Clean mini-split filters Drain and clean hot tubs Perform property inspections Report larger maintenance issues Grounds Maintenance Mow grass Weed eat Spray weeds Remove debris Maintain the appearance of cabin grounds General Repairs Replace door handles and hardware Repair or replace door locks Tighten loose fixtures Complete minor repairs Assist with preventative maintenance Additional Duties Pick up supplies Help prepare cabins between guests Assist with seasonal projects Other maintenance tasks as assigned QualificationsRequired Basic maintenance or handyman experience Ability to troubleshoot simple maintenance issues Reliable transportation Valid driver's license Ability to work independently Strong work ethic Preferred Experience with vacation rentals Landscaping experience Maintenance experience Construction or handyman background Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 pounds Frequent walking, bending, climbing, and lifting Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather Ability to use basic hand and power tools Schedule Part-time 20-30 hours per week Flexible scheduling Occasional weekends as needed Benefits Weekly pay Flexible hours Paid training Opportunity for growth Variety of work—no two days are the same Work in the scenic
