Hiring Agency Tourism, Arts, & Heritage Cabinet | Kentucky Department of Parks Location 1608 Hwy 227 Carrollton, KY 41008 USA Description General Butler State Resort Park, located in the heart of the Bluegrass, in Carrollton, KY, provides all the peace and tranquility of the country while only minutes from the city. The Mechanical Maintenance and Operations Technician II is a highly skilled team member, providing expertise in the upkeep of the park and all its amenities. As a fluent communicator, duties would include training others and being the vital link of information on the necessities of the park, so it can operate efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
Performs General Maintenance of facilities and equipment General skillset in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and grounds Works on special projects to upkeep and restore and rejuvenate the park

EDUCATION
High school graduate.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS
Four years of experience in the maintenance or repair of HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, or electrical systems. Substitute

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
(AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be 18 years of age. Working Conditions May be required to take care of emergency repairs twenty-four hours a day. Probationary Period This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in
KRS 18A.111.
