Job Description

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for performing activities to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. Employees at this level are expected to have the ability to diagnose problems with and repair all production equipment.
Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Journeyman's certification and sufficient maintenance experience, or six or more years of experience with maintenance of manufacturing equipment Ability to work with AC and DC circuits up to 600 volts Ability to accurately read blueprints and schematics Basic experience with articulated robot cells Ability to prioritize job tasks Self-motivated Good organizational skills Good communication skills, verbal and written Advanced problem solving skills Fit into team and continuous improvement environment Ability to work under pressure Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, Word and Excel Physical ability appropriate to skilled trade hands-on maintenance work
Preferred:
Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, Word and Excel Ability to work with and direct people Ability to do advanced troubleshooting and programming with articulated robot cells Primary Position responsibilities: Provides emergency repairs of production machines minimizing downtime Performs the higher technical level preventive maintenance tasks Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required service Documents and publishes changes to machine drawings and manuals Troubleshoots control circuits including digital programming Orders spare and replacement parts as needed Reports all activity into Computerized Maintenance Management System Submits written reports as requested Builds and installs control circuits and small equipment using furnished drawings and schematics Understands, promotes, and correctly performs to pertinent safety and other regulations Uses PPE effectively Maintains clean and orderly work areas Exercises personal conduct that promotes goodwill in all interactions, minimizing distraction for self and others Owns and maintains all personal tools required to perform the various maintenance functions Knows, and performs as requested, responsibilities of the lower level technicians Performs other duties as assigned to include special projects, programs, and developmental activities Reporting to this position: None Physical demands and work environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work environment:
Works in manufacturing areas, warehouse, fabrication shop, and offices Team members are expected to adhere to all company policies and to act as a role model in the adherence to policies.
