Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing facility on the third shift. This role is vital in ensuring the continuous operation and optimal performance of production equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, and demonstrate a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repairs. This position offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with a strong technical background to contribute to operational excellence and safety standards. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and control issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Maintain and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure machinery operates within specified tolerances. Diagnose high voltage and low voltage electrical problems using appropriate testing equipment; repair or replace components as needed. Operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely for access to elevated or hard-to-reach areas. Read and interpret mechanical schematics and electrical diagrams to facilitate effective repairs. Support the installation of new machinery or upgrades while adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize manufacturing processes. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally. Skills Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics. Proficiency in electrical systems, including industrial electrician experience, high voltage, low voltage, and troubleshooting using ammeters and ohmmeters. Strong analysis skills for diagnosing issues efficiently and implementing effective solutions. Ability to operate field service equipment like scissor lifts safely; valid certification preferred. Effective communication skills in English; capable of working collaboratively within diverse teams. Background in industrial electrician work or industrial mechanic experience is advantageous. Experience working in military environments or with military-grade equipment is a plus. Customer service orientation with a focus on safety compliance and operational reliability.
