Job Description

Industrial Maintenance Technician Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyor equipment, bearings, gearboxes, welding, and preventive maintenance. Electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical failures on production equipment. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime. Install, align, and maintain motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, fans, and other rotating equipment. Replace bearings, chains, sprockets, belts, seals, and other mechanical components. Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Perform basic fabrication, welding, and cutting as needed. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals. Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS. Work safely while following OSHA regulations and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects. Respond to emergency breakdowns during production.
Qualifications:
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred. Strong knowledge of mechanical power transmission systems. Experience with welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick) and fabrication. Familiarity with bearings, alignment, lubrication, and precision measurements. Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Basic electrical troubleshooting (480V, motors, sensors, VFDs) preferred. Experience using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures, heights, and confined spaces. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Industrial manufacturing or sawmill experience. PLC troubleshooting experience. Forklift, boom lift, or scissor lift certification. Millwright experience. CMMS experience (Fiix, SAP, etc.).
