Job Description

LAND O' FROST IS HIRING IMMEDIATELY FOR
1st & 2nd
SHIFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS MONDAY
  • FRIDAY 1st shift hours: 5:00AM
  • 1:30PM 2nd shift hours: 2:00PM
  • 10:30PM
STARTING PAY IS
$27.27/HOUR (+$.80/HOUR
SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL
(2nd shift)) MEDICAL, DENTAL, VISION, Rx, and
VACATION AFTER 90 DAYS 401K

What YOU will do Meet daily with the Maintenance Manager/Supervisors to define priorities for the day. Assist in installation of production equipment and developing and corrective and preventive maintenance plan for the plant. Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production equipment. Perform maintenance service request tasks as needed. Participate in project implementation and Process Improvement teams. Assist with bench-work repairs to help maintain spare parts inventory. Identify opportunities for decreasing variation and cost of operation in processes and make recommendations for improvement. Assist with emergency response situations in the plant. Comply with all plant safety and personnel policies. Responsible for adhering to all food safety, quality, and GMP procedures. Responsible for following all safety guidelines and wearing appropriate PPE when required. All other duties as assigned. About YOU Strong preference for electrical background. Strong preference for fabrication experience. PLC experience preferred. Minimum of 2 years multi-craft maintenance experience required. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be a self-motivator. Must have strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills. Must be able to work in confined areas with widely varying temperature conditions. Must have ability to follow instructions and work individually and as part of a team. With occasional weekend work. Must be able to work overtime as required, with or without notice.
Physical Requirements:
Constant walking, bending, stooping, and ladder climbing. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. as frequently as four or more times each day. Frequent pushing and pulling up to 75 lbs. using appropriate material handling devices.
