Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic facilities maintenance team as a Maintenance Staff member, where your expertise will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance activities across our facilities, ensuring safety, functionality, and cleanliness. Your proactive approach and technical skills will contribute to a safe, well-maintained environment that supports our team's productivity and satisfaction. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal operation. Perform electrical repairs and troubleshooting using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Execute mechanical repairs including welding, plumbing, and the use of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate or troubleshoot systems. Carry out residential painting tasks to maintain facility aesthetics and appearance. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Assist with facilities maintenance projects such as installing new equipment or upgrading existing systems. Supervise or assist with subcontractors during specialized repair or renovation projects when necessary. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during all maintenance activities. Support manufacturing operations by maintaining production equipment and troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues promptly. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client requests efficiently and professionally. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing environments, or similar roles with hands-on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills. Knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), welding techniques, and electrical troubleshooting is highly desirable. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping. Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately. Supervisory or leadership experience in overseeing maintenance teams or subcontractors is a plus. Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration with team members.
