Job Description

Job Summary At CPC Commodities , we use proven methods of manufacturing along with cutting edge nutritional technology to manufacture quality supplements for the livestock industry. Our plant in Park City, KY is looking for a Maintenance Technician to be responsible for performing a diversified list of duties including installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining production and facility equipment. The Maintenance Technician executes techniques safely and efficiently to support our business goals, including maximizing equipment uptime. Primary Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: Perform diversified duties to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve production machines and plant equipment Perform preventative, predictive, and emergency maintenance of production equipment, material handling equipment, facility utilities, and safety devices. Establish or maintain Preventative Maintenance guidelines for all existing and new equipment. Perform basic millwright tasks. Perform basic machinist duties including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines Diagnose problems and replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments when needed. Comply with safety regulations and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements Include:
Mechanically inclined candidates have adequate formal training or past working experience as a millwright or welder General working knowledge of shop tools, power and hand tools, and maintenance equipment is necessary General working knowledge of production plant systems such as electrical AC/DC control circuits, pumps, motors, flow meters, filters, and conveyor systems Ability to troubleshoot problems Physical requirements include bending, kneeling, lifting up to 75lbs., and climbing straight ladders Must be okay with climbing heights reaching up to 190ft. Strong verbal and written communication skills Cooperative attitude and ability to work well as part of a team and individually Valid Driver's License The position is Full-Time. Schedule is 12:00 noon - 8:30 PM. On-Call time, as needed. Position may require weekend work, holidays as needed, and short-notice shift coverage.
