EXPERIENCED INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - SEAFOOD PROCESSING PLANT A
local seafood processing company is seeking a dependable, hands-on maintenance technician to maintain and repair equipment throughout its production facility.
Responsibilities include:
Performing scheduled preventive maintenance on processing equipment Inspecting, greasing, and lubricating machinery using food-grade products Welding and fabricating equipment, guards, brackets, and other components Completing basic plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and general facility repairs Troubleshooting equipment problems and responding quickly to breakdowns Maintaining pumps, motors, conveyors, belts, bearings, and related machinery Keeping accurate maintenance and repair records Helping keep equipment safe, reliable, and ready for production Qualified candidates should have previous industrial or general maintenance experience, basic welding or plumbing skills, and the ability to work independently. Experience in manufacturing or another industrial environment is strongly preferred. Applicants must be dependable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a wet, refrigerated production environment. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and work from ladders or in confined areas when necessary.
Pay:
$21.50 - $28.75 per hour
