Responsibilities Perform detailed floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to restore floors to their optimal condition. Operate a variety of cleaning equipment including floor buffers, scrubbers, polishers, and carpet cleaning machines with precision and care. Handle cleaning chemicals and floor cleaning agents safely while adhering to environmental health standards. Conduct routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and detailed spot cleaning across different flooring surfaces. Execute heavy lifting tasks involving equipment or supplies to support ongoing maintenance activities. Maintain high standards of customer service by responding promptly to client requests and ensuring satisfaction with cleaning results. Follow safety protocols for chemical handling and manual handling to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Requirements Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services, including janitorial or environmental services roles. Knowledge of floor care techniques such as floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Familiarity with handling floor cleaning chemicals and chemical agents in accordance with safety guidelines. Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients and team members.
