Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) units, and other equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct repairs on various mechanical components, including motors, pumps, belts, and air conditioning units. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing technical support and ensuring safety standards are met. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure compliance and facilitate future troubleshooting. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or installations when necessary. Experience Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician in a commercial or industrial environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and equipment repair. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting purposes. Familiarity with HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment. Experience in construction or facility maintenance projects is a plus. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with contractors effectively. Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical systems, HVAC/R equipment, and general maintenance procedures.
